American Legion Auxiliary Units exist in more than 8,000 local communities in the USA and in foreign countries. Founded in 1919 during the first National Convention of The American Legion, the ALA has grown to be one of the largest veterans support organizations. Patriotism and veterans advocacy are very important to our Cherry Hill NJ American Legion Post 372 Auxiliary Unit and we’ve been serving, educating, and giving to America’s finest — our military. We answer the call of Service Not Self.
AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP -Due to a recent American Legion Auxiliary NJ change in by-laws (12/2025), our procedure for new Auxiliary membership has changed. To become a new member of our Auxiliary, individuals are required to fill out an application form and go through an approval process by our Membership Committee. Once the application is submitted, applicants will be invited to a meeting where the Committee will review their application – upon approval a membership fee shall be paid, which is an annual fee.
People eligible to apply for Auxiliary Post 372 membership include male and female spouses of veteran/active military, grandmothers, mothers, sisters, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion.
