The Polar Bear Plunge in Wildwood, presented by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, was held last weekend! The event was not just about taking a daring plunge into the icy Atlantic waters; it was an opportunity to make a tangible difference by supporting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey. In addition to all the participants that braved the cold for a good cause, one couple even took the marriage plunge, while others gathered to cheer them all on! Representing several organizations, some Legion members (Tim Servis, Cindy Nims and Lou Hannon) partook in this frigid pastime while some attended as the cheering section, including Commander Merimonde.
