It is with deep sadness we report the passing of American Legion Post 372 member & Navy veteran, Vic Myer, on February 22nd, 2024. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Donna and the rest of his family.

Funeral arrangements through Schetter Funeral Home in Cherry Hill, NJ Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, February 29th from 5pm-7pm, followed by a service.

Victor J. Meyer, Jr. of Cherry Hill, NJ died February 22, 2024. Age 80. Beloved husband of Donna Kay (nee Clark). Loving father of Michael Meyer; Leslie Meyer and Colleen Macauley (Robert). Devoted grandfather of Jacob, Max and Makayla. Dear brother of Robert (Rachael); Julia; John (Joanne); Teri (Mark) and the late Linda.Vic was born in Philadelphia December of 1943. He attended Bensalem High School. He was married to Donna for 55 years and his love for her stayed strong for all of these years. He is a Navy submarine veteran and proudly served his country from 1961-1970. Vic loved music and played the trombone, guitar, and drums. He also loved to DJ in his spare time. He was a true NASCAR fan. If a race was on he was watching it. Over the years he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and bowling. He enjoyed supporting his children and grandchildren with all of their activities which included music, karate, soccer, and dance. He had a big heart and was always there when you needed him. He never asked for anything in return. Vic will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Viewing Thursday 5 to 7pm in The Schetter Funeral Home, 304 West Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral service 7pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
