American Legion Post 372 has kicked off the World War II ART CONTEST.
What a great opportunity this is for our local youth to show off their art and a chance to win a scholarship!
In addition to a scholarship, the first place winner will also be painting their mural on the facade of the American Legion Post 372 building. It will be on one of the 6 "Mural Walls" on the front of the building.
The first "Mural Wall" was completed last summer by Artist Emily Davidson, a student at Cherry Hill West High School. As first place winner she painted a stunnning mural representing World War I, which depicts soldiers, white memorial crosses and scenes from the victory parade in New York overlaying a bright red poppy.
