UPCOMING LEGION MISSION EVENTS

Please Remember to RSVP asap ! - VETERANS SUMMER FUN Days - Saturdays from 9am - 12noon on May 18th, June 22nd, July 13th and August 10th, 2024 at American Legion Post 372 in the PICNIC GROVE. Veterans (+ 1 guest) are invited to join us for our Summer Fun days including Music, Outdoor Games, and some classic Board Games we all know and love!. Lite Bites and Refreshments. FREE. Flagging of Locustwood Cemetery – Sunday, May 19th – 10am. Meet at cemetery at 10am. Bring screwdriver or poker to aid in placing flags in ground. Open to Legion members and invited guests.

Flagging of Colestown Cemetery – Wednesday, May 22nd – 6pm. Meet at cemetery at 6pm. Bring screwdriver or poker to aid in placing flags in ground. Open to Legion members and invited guests.

Flagging of Calvary Cemetery – Saturday, May 25, 2024 - Meet at the Legion at 10am. Bring screwdriver or poker to aid in placing flags in ground. Open to Legion members and invited guests.

Memorial Day Ceremonies – Monday, May 27th. Join members of our Legion Post 372 and community to honor and remember our fallen on Monday, May 27, 2024. Services at American LEgion Post 372, 1532 Martin Ave, Cherry Hill, NJ at 9am, followed by services in front of the flagpole at Locustwood Cemetery, Rt 70, Cherry Hill, NJ and then services at Cherry Hill Township Municipal Bldg, 820 Mercer St, Cherry Hill, NJ at 10am. Open to the public.

Installation of 2024-25 Officers – Tuesday, May 28th 7pm in the Hall. Officers for the 2024-2025 year will be installed. Open to Legion members.

NJ AMERICAN LEGION STATEWIDE SERVICES & SOCIAL – Sunday, June 2, 2024 – Be sure to come out for this great event and tradition! – The Annual NJ Statewide American Legion Services kicks off with a Parade at 1:30pm at Locustwood Cemetery, followed by a Ceremony, with Guest Speakers including NJ American Legion Officers, S.A.L. Officers, Auxiliary Officers and others. Afterwards there is a Social/Buffet at American Legion Post 372, Cherry Hill. Be sure to come out and meet members/officers from all our NJ American Legions !! Its a great opportunity to mingle, share news and events with our fellow Legions !!! Open to Legion members.

Flag Pick Up at Locustwood Cemetery– Sunday, June 9th –- 9:30am meet at Locustwood Cemetery. Join Cherry HIll American Legion members to help collect and sort Memorial Day flags from our veterans graves. Learn how to separate tattered flags and prepare for retirement and storage of unblemished flags. Event open to public. Bring scissors and trash bag

Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony – Monday, June 10th – 7:30pm - Join us for our annual Flag Retirement ceremony with the Boy Scouts. Rain or Shine, 7:30pm outside at the Fire Pit. After the Ceremony, which includes the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, CHPD and CHFD, the public will be invited to retire a tattered flag in the fire pit. Open to the public

American Legion Convention in Wildwood – June 13-15th. Speak to Post 372 Officers to see if any plans are being made for attendance/participation. Open to Legion members.

In House and our Lively Canteen Events

May 18th - Pre Summer Margarita Luau - With bartender Josh and live music by Deacon Zeke. Enjoy a night of fun, tropical themed drinks and great melodies. 7pm - ?. Bring a dish to share. Open to Legion members and their guests.

Fireworks & BBQ – Wednesday, July 3rd – American Legion Post 372 members are invited to come out for Burgers & Dogs in the picnic grove at 6pm and then watch the Cherry Hill Township Fireworks which are held across the street. Bring a dish/dessert to share. Bring a chair to watch fireworks from Legion property. American Legion Post 372 members only. Fireworks approx. 9:15pm. Open to Legion Post 372 members.
