Veteran and Active Military Membership at Post 372

The American Legion, founded in 1919, is the largest U.S. veterans organization with more than 1.6 million members who strengthen the nation through programs, services and advocacy for those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, youth and communities.  The American Legion operates worldwide with over 12000 individual "Posts". By becoming a member (aka Legionnaire) of the American Legion Post 372 of Cherry Hill NJ you are joining us in our commitment to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

Some of our Post 372 Legionnaires Annual Events include Memorial Day Services, Flagging of Veterans Graves, Veterans Day Services, Youth Art Contest, Boys State, Legion Youth Baseball, NJ American Legion Statewide Services Host and Flag Retirement Ceremonies. The Auxiliary and SAL's are active in participating in these events.

Sons of the American Legion Post 372

The Sons of the American Legion Post 372, commonly known as the S.A.L.'s, is a program under the American Legion, tracing its origins back to 1932. They are compromised of family members of our veterans.  With a primary focus on serving their Community, State, and Nation, these individuals work to uphold the core values of the American Legion. They extend a helping hand to veterans of the U.S., honoring their sacrifice and standing as pillars of support within their communities.

Some of our Post 372 SAL's Annual Events include Family Day and Log Splitting, and occasional fundraisers to benefit our veterans and community, along with participating in the Post 372 Legionnaires events.

We answer the call of Service Not Self.

Some of our Post 372 Auxiliary Annual Events include the Children's Christmas Party, Holiday Food Drive, Toy/Pet Drive, Girls State and Home for the Brave visit.
