It warms the heart to share that the Post 372 Auxiliary paid their annual visit to the Home for the Brave on January 25th, a shelter dedicated to supporting 30 veterans in need. Joined by fellow members from the American Legion Post 372, Oaklyn Post, and a representative from the Nam Knights, the outpouring of donations from everyone, including St Marys was overwhelming and incredibly touching. From essentials like socks, toiletries, towels, hats, scarfs, to thoughtful gestures like gift cards, notepads, pens, snacks, and even food trays and desserts, the veterans experienced a day filled with appreciation and care – complete with gift bags decorated by some local school children. It is heartening to see such support for these brave individuals who have selflessly served their country. Thank you to all that donated and joined in the visit.
