American Legion Baseball Coach Ron Krowiak Honored
On June 9, 2015, Post 372 honored Legionnaire Ron Krowiak for his many years of service and dedication to the American Legion Baseball. In a quiet ceremony prior to the the Legionnaires Eboard meeting, Past Commander, Ernie Brosh, presented Ron with a plaque. Ernie spoke with admiration about Ron’s dedication and thanked him profusely for his many years working with the boys on the American Legion Baseball Team. Ron thanked the American Legion and said he really appreciated all the support over the years. He went on to say that the he knows the boys greatly appreciated being involved with the team. Ron wanted to point out that the scholarships that the American Legion gave out over the years certainly made a difference and in many cases meant the difference between not going to on to college and going on to college. Lastly Ron stated that 108 young men will be wear American Legion Post 372 on their uniform this summer. This will be the last year that Ron coaches. Post 372 wishes Ron well in his retirement and will miss him as he and his wife will be moving to Florida.
