American Legion Post 372 World War II Youth Art Contest Winners
Thank you to all that took the opportunity to show off their awesome artwork by entering a submission in the American Legion Post 372 WWII Art Contest! It was exciting to see the creativity in everyone’s submissions and a difficult choice for our judges! Everyone did an outstanding job!
We are pleased to announce the following winners of the contest;
Coming in 1st place is Emily Davidson.
Emily, an 11th grader at Cherry Hill West High School, won 1st prize with her art submission titled “Land, Sea and Air”. A big round of applause for Emily, who has once again proved to be an outstanding artist having also won last years Art Contest (WWI depicition). In addition to receiving a $1000 Scholarship, she is painting her artwork on the façade of the American Legion. Coming in 2nd place is Cecilia DiPal
Cecilia, an 11th grader of Bishop Eustace Prep, won 2nd prize with her art submission titled “Honor and Remembrance”. Outstanding job Cecilia! She will receive a $500 Scholarship.
Coming in 3rd place is Hana Kolenovic
Hana, an 11th grader at Cherry Hill West High School, won 3rd prize with her art submission titled “World War Two memorial”. Awesome job Hana! She will receive a $300 Scholarship.
