For the 15^th year American Legion Post 372 volunteers flagged the 5K route for the Cpt Greg Dalessio Memorial 5K run that was held on Saturday December 2nd. The run winds around the Knollwood Section of Cherry Hill, passing by the home where Cpt Greg Dalessio grew up. Greg had been assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, - he was killed June 23, 2008 in Baghdad of wounds sustained in Salman Pak, Iraq, when his patrol encountered small arms fire during combat operations.
