WWI Mural Unveiled at Post 372
On Wednesday, July 26th the American Legion Post 372 unveiled the WWI mural painted by Cherry Hill West Junior Emily Davidson, who won the Legions 1st Annual Art Contest earlier this year. Members of the community, including Camden County Commissioner Melinda Kane, Camden County Veterans Affairs Director Ted Gallagher, Mayor Angulo, Cherry Hill Police Department and school officials, gathered for a brief ceremony and recognized Emily for her tremendous talent and efforts. The mural representing World War I, depicts soldiers, white memorial crosses and scenes from the victory parade in New York overlaying a bright red poppy. Job well done Emily!
