What a great opportunity our World War I Art Contest was for our youth from our Cherry Hill High Schools (West, East and Alternative) !

Applicants submitted artwork of scenes from World War I on Poster Boards for judging, which was done on Tuesday, May 16th in the Legion Hall.

Veteran Kurt Myers, head of the Legion Art project, was one of the judges along with Cherry Hill Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and other veterans from Post 372, including Commander Merimonde. Pizza and soda was enjoyed by all after the judging.

Our first place winner, Emily Davidson (West), will be painting her mural on a section of our building outside. She also will be receiving a $1000 Scholarship.

2nd Place winner, Brynne Young (East), will be receiving a $500 Scholarship and 3rd place winner, Alexander Scott (East), will be receiving a $300 scholarship.
