Our Legion members have had a busy couple of weeks with flagging veterans graves at Calvary Cemetery, Locustwood Cemetery and Colestown Cemetery - adhering to old traditions and adding some new!  Unfortunately the VFW and American Legion in Westmont closed their doors recently, so some of our members stepped up to help take their place with flagging at Calvary.

Our Memorial Day Services included the Legion service - 9:30am in front of our flagpole, followed by a service in front of our Legion momument at Locustwood Cemetery and some members also attended the Cherry Hill Township Memorial Day Service which was held at 11:30am.

The Legion hosted an impromptu cook out in the front picnic grove, with burgers and dogs cooked by SAL Commander Josh Seib. We were so happy to see some of our past officers that dont make it out to the Legion much now - past Commander Ernie Brosh, Paul Pollard and Chester Malik to name a few. We also had a nice visit from Mayor Angulo and some of Cherry Hill's Finest.  It was a nice way to cap off memoralizing our fallen.
