It is with heavy hearts we report the passing of long time SAL member Jim Ihlenfeld on May 25, 2022.

James R. Ihlenfeld of Cherry Hill, NJ died May 25, 2022. Age 65. Jim was a member of the Erlton Fire Department, Station 13-2, volunteering his time since 1975. Jim was also a member of the American Legion Post 372 as a SAL for the past 27 years.

Beloved father of Joanna Caban (Felix) of Grapevine, TX. and Nicholas Ihlenfeld of Cherry Hill, NJ. Loving son of Florence (Doris) Ihlenfeld (nee Landolt) and the late Thomas J. Ihlenfeld. Devoted grandfather of Isabella and Olivia Caban. Dear brother of Karen Lamon (Tex) and the late Thomas J. Ihlenfeld, Jr. (Georgine).
