It’s been a rough time around the Legion and we regret to inform you of the passing of Bubbles (Bobby D’s beloved mom) and SAL member Doug Nims brother, William.

Doris (Bubbles) De Concini (nee Mc Cutcheon) (late Deac), of Maple Shade, NJ passed away on February 24, 2020 at the age of 90.

Devoted mother of Dianne (Bill) Murray, Denise (Tom) Wood, Frank-Deac (Nancy) De Concini and Bob De Concini and daughter-in-law Christine, beloved grandmother of Valerie (Jim) Mc Kendrick, Susan (Grant) Larouere, Tommy Wood, Kelly (Jeff) Loesser, Deb (Matt) Webster, Lui De Concini and Adrian De Concini. She was the adored GIGI to Carlyn and Ainsley Mc Kendrick and Cody Webster. Bubbles is also survived by dear friend and sister-in-law Moxie Mc Cutcheon (married to her deceased and much loved brother Dutch) and sister-in-law June Freeman, along with many nieces and nephews and their families.

A memorial mass will be take place on Monday, March 16th 10:15 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38105

William D. Nims, 68, of Collingswood, NJ, formerly of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away on February 21, 2020, leaving behind many who loved him. Bill was a graduate of Moorestown High School, 1969. He worked for many years as a manager and salesman for DiGiulio’s Shoes in Maple Shade and then as owner of Schuster’s Shoes in Berlin, NJ.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle (Joe) Wojceichowski, son Michael Nims, granddaughters Lily and Ava, former wife, Linda C. Porst, sisters Virginia Nims, Mary Barnett (Paul), Carrol Wilcox, and Sallie Williams (Kevin), and brothers Doug Nims (Cindy), Stuart Williams (Janeth), and Guyer Williams. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Beverly Nims, his stepmother Merrol Nims, his sisters Pam Bernhardt and Laurie DuBell, and his brothers-in-law Tom Bernhardt and Darin Wilcox.
Visitation is Friday afternoon 1:30-2:30 pm at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown, NJ, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:30 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment is private. As an expression of sympathy, please consider making a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
