Obituary of Walter Cyran, Jr.

Walter J. Cyran, Jr., age 88, of Mt. Laurel, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2016 with his family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Shirley (nee Strout); daughters Tami Webb and Denise (Dixie) Niejadlik; granddaughters Victoria Webb, Megan (Matthew) Zaruba, and Renee (Forrest) Stump; and great-granddaughter Zoey Zaruba. Predeceased by daughter Cheryl Taubensee and son Michael. A proud Navy veteran, Walt will be remembered by his love of flying model airplanes, building model boats, his great zest for life, and loving his little dog Jeffy. Although he never complained, he now rests in peace after courageously fighting a long battle with cancer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday from 2-3PM at EICHEL FUNERAL HOME, 8323 MAPLE AVE., PENNSAUKEN, NJ 08109. PH 856-662-1102. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
