Harvey Fisher Abrams
Harvey Fisher Abrams of Burlington Township passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 87.
Born in Smithville, Mr. Abrams was a lifelong area resident.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Korea. Mr. Abrams was retired from Rohm & Haas in Bristol where he worked for over 40 years.
He loved farming and he and his family operated a local produce stand together for over 40 years. Mr. Abrams was also an avid outdoorsman and member of the Retreat Gun Club.
A devoted husband, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis. He was the loving father of Douglas Abrams (Karen) of Westampton, Karen Jenkins (Jack) of Hainesport, and Linda Abrams Raymond (Mike) of Edgewater Park. Grandfather of the late Jennifer, he is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One of eight children, he is survived by his brothers, Richard and Herbert Abrams, both of Medford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Park View Cemetery, Medford Village.
