Long time member Gus Branco passes away
August J. Branco “Gus”, age 83, of Cherry Hill, passed away on April 1, 2016, surrounded by his devoted family. Gus is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Norma (nee Ciuni); sons, John (Paula) of Naples, FL, Steven of Cherry Hill, Mark (Donna) of Brigantine; daughters, Andrea of Boynton Beach, FL, Susanne Butler (James) of Cherry Hill and Claudia of Millsboro, DE. He is also survived by his fraternal aunt, Mary Scarduzio of Indian Mill; brothers, Joseph of Gibbstown, Donald (Patricia) of Logan Twp and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Nicole Tarsia; Ellis, Maya and Jimi Butler; Annemarie Branco; Olivia and Natalie Branco; and, Cory, Annabelle and Hunter Branco.
Gus was a self employed carpenter, Past Grand Knight of Marian Council K of C, Past President of Haddonfield Lions Club and a member of American Legion Post 0372. He served as a Marine Sergeant in the Korean War and was an active member of Christ the King Church in Haddonfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday April 9, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, NJ.
