About 6 years ago, SFC William Richmond, returned home from his 2nd tour in Iraq to a welcome home escort by the Warriors Watch and friends. He is now serving with his unit out of Cherry Hill, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
He has requested a welcome home for his Unit and for the young Soldiers that are returning from their first deployment. He indicates that these young soldiers have spent the past year over seeing the care and control of high value detainees of interest –  it has not been an easy year for them.
(Some of you may remember SFC Richmond from prior events and the Gathering of Heroes Bus Trip)
If interested in the motorcycle escort, please join Warriors Watch and friends, gather at the Ft Dix Welcome Center Parking Lot, Rt 68, Ft Dix at 8:45am. You will depart at approx 9:30 and escort the buses to the Cherry Hill Armory. (Time of departure is fluxating, so please be prepared to wait)

If interested in attending the ceremony – The buses carrying the 328th MPs will be escorted to the Cherry Hill Armory, where there will be a ceremony at 11am. If you are not doing the escort and just want to attend the ceremony, please arrive earlier so you can cheer the buses on as they arrive. Try and arrived about 10-10:30am.

After the ceremony, their will be a motorcycle escort for SSG Eric Cheeseman from the Cherry Hill Armory to the bridge (DE). SSG Cheeseman will be retiring after 20 years in the service. Departure from the Cherry Hill Armory will be after the Welcome Home Ceremony.
