Henry J. Applegate

AGE: 70 • Pennsauken

Henry J. Applegate, 70, lifelong resident of Pennsauken, New Jersey, passed away on November 3, 2014. He retired as Fire Chief from NAEC-NAWC Lakehurst, NJ, served his country in the United States army and retired from the Air National Guard. He was a lifetime member of Highland and East Pennsauken fire departments. Among his many passions he belonged to and supported; AmVets, VFW, the Lakehurst Historical Society, and multiple Philatelic organizations- and all things Airships / Hindenburg.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Ellen, his son David, daughter Heather and grandchildren Lauren, Matthew and Amanda.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM immediately followed by the funeral service at noon, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Final disposition will be private.
