A huge thank you goes out to Martin Catalano, Sister Lydia, Sister Mary, the Staff and children at Resurrection Catholic School in Cherry Hill for making cards and letters for our American Heroes that will be in town this week.  We provided Martin/RCS with bios and video interviews of the 4 Medal of Honor recipients that will be here – Brian Thacker, Tom Norris, Mike Thornton and Barney Barnum. After learning and listening to their stories, the children at Ressurection Catholic School made up cards/letters for them. Their response was overwhelming and incredibly heartwarming ! You can view their cards below.

      

We will hand delivering the cards/letters to the Medal of Honor recipients on Thursday, April 17th. Some Legion members and friends will be attending the “Gathering of Heroes” in Philadelphia – going over on a bus that the Legion has so graciously paid for.
