Welcome to the beginning of the American Legion Auxiliary 2013-2014 administrative year!
As we organize our meeting schedules, budgets, membership rosters and other tasks, let’s take a minute to remember why we signed up as Auxiliary members: to honor and serve America’s veterans, the military and their families.
Want to meet members and national leaders who share your passion for helping veterans, or to renew your enthusiasm for our mission? Consider participating in Mission Training. All sessions have fresh material and are designed to be interactive and fun for attendees.
“You made it clear that leadership training is a key to our success in the future,” said 2013-2014 National President Nancy Brown-Park in her installation remarks at the 2013 National Convention in Houston. “You talked, and we listened! Mission Training has been revamped and includes two tracks. The first is American Legion Auxiliary Programs: What’s This All About? and the second is Organizational Effectiveness: Developing the Future Grassroots Leader in You. Day two will be dedicated to membership, raising awareness of the ALA and our role in the community.”
