I remember you well John and God has a plan for each of us
John, I remember you from PI and especially the morning you all got on the
bus going to Geiger. I stood there and shook your hand as you boarded the
bus and in my heart I prayed that nothing would happen to any of you like it
did to you and the others. But God in His infinite wisdom has a plan for us
that we can't figure out and never will until we get to Heaven where you
are. I am sorry that your family had to go through the sorrow of losing you
at such a young age but you gave everything you had to give to your country.
I know that we will meet in Heaven when I cross over into Heaven through the
thin veil of what we call death and we will be reunited there my friend with
the others who have given their all for their country and their God. I love
you John as only one Marine can love another Marine. I know that your family
has not forgotten you or what you went through for you were a good son.
Remember that you are not forgotten by me and never will be. Semper Fidelis
and God be with you always. Your friend and fellow Marine Larry Ward.
